Shopping Haul!!

I keep a list in my phone titled "Wish List". I put everything from inexpensive items such as crop tops and tank tops to expensive items such as Chanel bags and Louboutin's. I've been doing this for YEARS. I really only buy items on this list and as a cross each item off, it seems 10 new items are added lol it's a never ending cycle that I just can't get enough of. I hope I'm not the only one out there like this!

Over the past few months, I've been focusing on summer clothes. I like to start early to ensure I get everything I think I need. Think is the key word here. Each season commences and I believe I need an entirely new wardrobe lol Anyways!! Here are some items I've purchased! I obviously haven't had a chance to wear these items but when I do, I'll be sure to do a recent outfits post.

All of these items are very versatile. They can be dressed up or down and I can wear the majority of each item in multiple ways which I believe is key to a great wardrobe. I'll admit that when it comes to a night out or an event, I always like to wear something new. I have tons of  dresses such as Herve Leger, Alice & Olivia, Parker, Elizabeth & James, Torn By Ronny Kobo, Alexander Wang and other amazing brands that I've only worn once. I'm sure I'll wear them again but I need to start breaking that bad habit lol. But with that being said, everyday clothes are different! I'll explain with each piece what I can and will pair it with and how versatile It really is.

My absolute favorite looks involve crop tops. You'll definitely see me rocking crop tops all summer!

I thought this outfit looked adorable together! Can't wait to rock it this summer :)

I bought these crop tops from Aritzia in black and white.
Crop top from Aritzia. I love this baggy style and intend on purchasing a few more colors soon. To start, I always buy classic black.
I absolutely adore this feminine color and floral print! Also from Aritzia.

H & M semi see through crop top in white. I also purchased this in black but the full length version. This semi see through top is in Aritzia currently but it's a quarter of the price at H & M so of course I bought both from there!

Semi see through lace crop top from H & M.

With each of these crop tops, I'll pair them with high waisted jean shorts and flip flops, high waisted Maxi skirts and flats, bandage skirt and heels. I always choose basic colors so they can be worn with pretty much everything!

High waisted jean shorts. I finally found my Levi's vintage pair!! I plan on wearing these way too much already lol

Aritzia high waisted cut off jean shorts In white and black.

These high waisted shorts will be worn with crop tops (of course) tank tops and flip flops, silk tops and heels, body suits and light weight, off the shoulder sweaters. I bought an adorable, semi see through off the shoulder sweater from H & M that I think would be perfect with the Levi's shorts! I couldn't find it on the H & M website so I'll take a photo of me in it soon :)

One of my favorite things to wear year-round is off the shoulder sweaters. They look amazing and effortless! I love to wear them with leggings, shorts and jeans.

I purchased this one from Aritzia.
Fitted v-neck from Aritzia. I love this grey shade!

I live in sweats. Every. Single. Day. So this is another staple that I purchase all year.
These ones are from Zara. The grey shade is slightly different from this so ill post an ootd pic of me wearing them soon. I also bought these in black. I prefer sweats with the elastic at the bottom so these are perfect!

Grey maxi skirt from Aritzia. Love maxis with crop tops and flip flops for a casual, trendy look!

For Love & Lemons knit crop top and skirt from Shop Bop. Ever since Kim K started wearing outfits like this, I've become utterly obsessed. Knit skirts are flattering on every body type!

The next few items are from BCBC
Romper
Fitted skirt
Maxi skirt
Leather shorts. I absolutely adore leather shorts & skirts! Every fashionista must have these in their wardrobe.

There are a few more items I haven't included such as tank tops, t shirts and other basics. A lot of my basics come from H & M. Their basic collection is very inexpensive and great quality. I wear their baggy tanks with a bralette all summer long! If you'd like to see a post on great basics like I've just mentioned, let me know in the comments :)

And now to the exciting items!! 2 new bags and 3 pairs of shoes. All of these items have been on my wish list and I'm SO happy I finally have them!!

Saint Laurent Jane sandals. I purchased the beige pair but I couldn't find a side view In the beige!
Front view in the beige color I have!
My new babies <3. This style of heel is seen everywhere right now! I was originally going to purchase the Zara version of these last year but I decided to splurge on the Saint Laurent's. Zara still sells these for around $200(I believe) compared to YSL's $895 price tag. I love the versatility of these heels. They look amazing with a dress, a skirt and blouse or crop top and even dressed down with jeans and a T-shirt or jeans and a blouse. They're a classic that will never go out of style.
Christian Louboutin Pigalle 120. I did have these a year ago but I never wore them as they were too big! I recently sold them and purchased a size down in the exact same pair. The pigalles are now my new favorite style that Louboutin makes. They are SO sexy and classy! I just can't get enough of these! I now feel it's necessary to get them in as many colors as possible.
So sexy!!!

Chanel espadrilles. FINALLY. I've been eyes these beauties up for the past 2 years but they're always sold out!
I have the dark tan color. I now want them in white! (Already added to my wish list) lol oops! They fit and feel great. Although you do have to go up a size in these. I'm pretty much a 36 in every brand but for these i had to go with a 37.

Onto the bags!

Chanel gst tote in black caviar leather and gold hardware. I sold my beige pst and decided the gst tote is better suited for me. I love this bag because it's big enough to use as my everyday bag but it can also be worn for a night out!
My new beautiful bag!

Chanel medium beige caviar with gold hardware. This beauty has been on my wish list for a few years now and I'm extremely happy to finally have it in my collection!
These two look like they were made for each other <3

Real hair!!! If you'd like to see a post all on hair care, let me know
These are the only two outfits I've worn with my new items!
The first look I'm wearing:
white crop top-H & M
Black high waisted pants- Forever 21
Bag: chanel caviar flap
Shoes: christian louboutin pigalle's

Second look:
Jacket- Top shop
Shirt- Aritzia
Leggings- LNA
Hat- Aritzia
Bag- chanel gst tote
Shoes- chanel espadrilles

I'll be selling my black lambskin flap bag soon! I'd like to get caviar leather instead of the lambskin I currently have so that's the reason I'll be selling it.

I hope this post was helpful and inspirational for your next shopping trip :)

My Skincare Routine/Holy Grail Products

I've been on the hunt lately for skin care products that actually make a difference in my skin. In the past, I've tried many different drug store products but any products I've purchased, aren't worth repurchasing and I try something new every time.

But alas, I've FINALLY found my holy grail products that I will ALWAYS repurchase!
I purchased all of these items in January and I've noticed an incredible improvement in my skin. I would get the odd blemish or two and break out once in a while but since I've started using these products, I haven't had one blemish since! My redness has diminished and the over all tone is more even.

Almost all of these products were recommended by one of my favorite beauty gurus on YouTube and basically whatever she recommends, I buy lol bad habit. I know!

I apologize for the lighting in my washroom!

Josie Maran light argon oil. Even if you have oily skin like I do, argon oil is great for your skin, it's nourishing and leaves your skin super soft. I use the light oil as I do have normal to oily skin. I use this at night time only. Purchased from Sephora

Purity by Philosophy face wash. It's a 3 in 1 cleanser, removes makeup and is very gentle. It never leaves your skin irritated. Purchased from Sephora

Kiel's ultra facial toner. I've never used a toner before this because I had no idea what it was used for. It's basically used to restore the PH levels of your skin and helps refine the surface texture. Purchased from kiehl's

Kiehl's Ultra facial moisturizer. I absolutely love this moisturizer. It's so hydrating and luxurious feeling! I'm excited to try the night cream version! Purchased from Kiel's

Boscia luminizing black mask. What I love about this mask is that it's a peel off mask! But make sure to put it on thick or it's a bitch to try and peel off. Purchased from Sephora

Lush ocean salt scrub. I use this once or twice a week for a really deep clean. Purchased from Lush

Glamglow super mud clearing treatment face mask. Ahhhh. My favorite mask. After just one use, you can see and feel a difference in your skin! I typically wouldn't spend over $70 on a mask but if you YouTube the reviews, it really does work wonders. Purchased from Sephora

Lush Mask of magnaminty face mask. This is a great alternative mask if you're not looking to spend a lot. I love the cool feeling of mint when it's on and the way it leaves my face feeling once I wash it off. Highly recommend. Purchased from Lush

Lush cosmetic warrior face mask (not pictured because it's stored in the refrigerator) this mask is a newer purchase, I've only used it twice but i like it so far. It's a fresh mask so you have to keep it in the refrigerator and only lasts 3 weeks but it's very inexpensive. Purchased from Lush

Mario Bedescu drying lotion. Mario bedescu is known for this product! It's basically a zip zapper! Unfortunately I haven't had a blemish since I started this new routine but the reviews are amazing and this product has been around for years so I'm very excited to use it when needed. Purchased from the Mario Bedescu website
Origins ginzing eye cream. My very first eye cream purchase! I've only used it a few times so no noticeable results yet but I love the brightening effect!

And the most important part of my skincare routine, the Clarisonic Mia 2 cleansing brush. I couldn't imagine spending almost $200 on a tool to cleanse my face but it's SO worth it. It doesn't wash your face, it deep cleanses your face. If you think about it, using your hands to wash your face is really just rubbing the product on the surface whereas this brush really gets in deep. This is what makes all the difference and I swear by it now!  Purchased from Sephora

That's it for my skin care routine. I really hope this post was informative! if you have any questions, please leave me a comment or email me nicolecourchaine@gmail.com
